2. What are the Benefits of Participating in the Innovators Pitch Challenge (IPC)?
- Opportunity to pitch to a panel of pre-selected investor & industry expert judges
- 6 minutes of pitch time
- 7 minutes of Q&A
- Session moderators will be strict on these time restraints to ensure an equal and fair opportunity for all participants
Participants are assigned to a live pitch and Q&A session based on similar sector/technology.
3. What if I Have Already Signed Up for the RESI Standard Registration and Want to Participate in IPC?
If you already signed up RESI. Please contact us at IPC@lifesciencenation.com, and the RESI team will issue a custom payment link to collect the remaining balance.
4. How do I Register, and What is Required in the Application?
All applicants register by completing the RESI IPC application. The application asks for brief information about the company and the presenter. We also require companies to submit their non-confidential marketing collateral (pitch deck and executive summary), as well as their company logo and the presenter’s headshot to effectively promote their participation on our social media channels.
5. Is There a Deadline to Apply?
Yes. You can find deadline information on the application page. However, applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and we usually have a running waitlist of companies, so we recommend applying as early as possible.
6. What is the Date and Location of IPC?
The Innovator’s Pitch Challenge (IPC) will take place during the in-person day of RESI
7. Are there Any Prizes or Awards Involved?
Yes! All registered RESI attendees will be given 5 pieces of “RESI Cash” upon conference check-in. All attendees are able to use RESI Cash to “invest” in IPC finalist companies they find the most compelling. The Top 3 companies with the most RESI Cash invested are announced during the cocktail reception that takes place at the end of RESI (5-7pm), and receive the following:
- 1st Place ($12,000 Value) – Complimentary tickets to 3 RESI events* of your choice (up to 2 tickets per event)
- 2nd Place ($8,000 Value) – Complimentary tickets to 2 RESI events* of your choice (up to 2 tickets per event)
- 3rd Place ($4,000 Value) – Complimentary tickets to 1 RESI event* of your choice (up to 2 tickets per event)
*The complimentary tickets must be redeemed within 1 calendar year upon placing in the Top 3.
