Complimentary Investor Registration Criteria:
Investor Qualification Criteria:
RESI is designed for active investors in the life science and healthcare sectors. Qualified investors include:
- Investment professionals at early-stage life science or healthcare venture capital and private equity funds
- Family offices and private wealth funds actively investing in life sciences
- Corporate venture, business development, or licensing professionals at life science and healthcare companies
- Active angel investors or executives at angel organizations investing in life sciences
- Nonprofit, venture philanthropy, and patient organizations providing funding to startups
- Institutional investors (pensions, endowments, foundations) with active life science investment mandates
Non-Qualifying Attendees
The following groups do not qualify for investor registration or the Engaged Investor Pass:
- Broker-dealers, investment bankers, or merchant bankers
- Venture debt providers or lenders
- Service providers, consultants, or advisors
- Firms charging fees for investor introductions
- Firms providing services in exchange for equity
- Incubators, accelerators, and startup development organizations
Engaged Investor Pass:
A limited number of complimentary registrations are available for investors who actively contribute to the RESI ecosystem.
To be considered, investors should meet at least one of the following:
- Participate as a panelist or moderator
- Participate as a judge in the Innovator’s Pitch Challenge (IPC)
- Demonstrate strong engagement in the partnering system

Participation Expectations & Governance
To ensure a high-quality partnering environment:
- Complimentary access is granted based on anticipated engagement and strategic fit
- Engaged Investor Pass holders are expected to actively participate in partnering activities
- Life Science Nation reserves the right to revoke complimentary access if participation does not meet expectations or does not align with stated investment focus
- Final eligibility is determined at the discretion of the RESI team
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing via e-mail 30 days prior to the conference date to receive a refund. All refunds will incur a $250 USD administrative fee and will be processed in the original form of payment. No refunds will be issued beyond the 30-day window. Registrations may be transferred to a replacement from your company if the registrant is unable to attend. Alternatively, registration may be transferred to a future RESI event. After the application deadline, cancellations of Innovator’s Pitch Challenge applications may be transferred to a standard registration for a future RESI event.
